The Calathea Freddie is a plant that enjoys bright, indirect sunlight as is native to Brazil. Originally found on tropical forest floors, this vibrant plant can be recognised by its unique striped green leaves. Symbolising new beginnings, this is a great addition to any new home or to give as a gift.
Care: Whilst this plant can tolerate the shade, it prefers indirect sunlight as direct sunlight can cause the green leaves to fade. This air-purifying plant must not be overwatered as this can lead to the leaves dropping off. Instead, keep the soil damp by watering as often as required and remember that the Calathea Freddie likes humid environments so mist the leaves if the air is too dry.
